Cowboy Camp

If you don’t want to participate in the big events, there are other options available. You can spend 5-6 days with the cowboys and do the day-to-day work required to make the operation work. These adventures are a little more relaxed, but no less fulfilling. You can ride out to check the cows, ride fences and repair them, and help improve or develop springs.
This option allows you to explore more areas that aren’t available during the brandings and roundups and see some of the historic sites from the mysterious 50 Mile Mountain on the Kaiparowits plateau. You can hike, explore, and see other sites that you wouldn’t otherwise see during the other adventures. Some of these sites include Outlaw Camp, Fortress Hill, Indian Gardens, Harvey’s Fear among others. This is a chance to learn some of the history that has long been a part of 50 Mile Mountain. See you on the trail!
